A key concept from the Number and Algebra strand from the Secondary Mathematics Curriculum, “simultaneous linear equation” was targeted at Secondary 2 level.

For this concept, we proposed the above problem to afford students to model various solutions prior to them learning the targeted concept.  What sort of solutions will teachers expect?
